Westfleet offers both inshore (coastal) and deep water species:
Inshore species:
Generally found between the shoreline and the 200m depth near the edge of New Zealand’s continental shelf.
Our inshore catch includes: Snapper, Tarakihi, Gurnard, Sea Perch, Blue Cod, Red Cod, Trevally, Sand Flounder, Brill, Turbot, Rig, Sole, Monkfish, Warehou, John Dory, Kingfish.
Deepwater species:
Found in 200m – 1200m depth range, inhabiting the West Coast’s canyons, reef systems and mid water.
Our deepwater catch includes: Groper, Bluenose, Hake, Hoki, Ling, Alfonsino, Gemfish, Orange Roughy.
